Fame, The Musical is basically an ensemble piece, featuring five teenage male, five teenage female and two adult male and two adult female roles. The teenage roles are high school students at the New York School for the Performing Arts. The adult roles are teachers. All high school students and both female teachers have vocals. Male teachers do not.
